We certainly live relatively in the world; however, we
may deny it;
Because relative is associated with dependence,
absolute with independence;
And we do not like to be judged in comparison to our
counterparts.
But deep inside we all know what we do in life is
relative to what others have done.
It is said food, shelter, clothing are the basic necessities
and that is what we need.
So, what about our wants, aren’t they relative? Aren’t
the desires relative?
What is the definition of a good life? A definition based
on relative parameters.
The life with which we are unsatisfied maybe is a
desired one elsewhere.
The life we desire maybe is the most undesired life for
the one who is experiencing it.
All this is relative and that is what makes all the
difference.
It is good to be relative as it pushes us to do something
better each day.
As long as it doesn’t come at a cost. A major cost
resulting in repentance.
Relativeness is multiplicative. If righteous, can help in
flourishing. If unjustifiable, will surely lead us to perish.
Absoluteness on the other hand is additive, it only adds
value to one’s life with respect to oneself
